‘Evil’s Katja Herbers Reacts To “Sad” News Of Series Cancellation

Evil star Katja Herbers is speaking out on the cancellation of the Paramount+ series, indicating it was a network decision that the series would end. She also put out feelers to Netflix for a possible pickup.

“We’re all super sad @paramountplus has decided season 4 is our last,” Herbers, who plays Kristen Bouchard on the show, wrote on X, adding “@netflix u up? Care to snatch up the goods??”

Paramount+ announced today that the upcoming fourth season would be the series’ final chapter, and would end with four bonus episodes to wrap up the storyline. It’s set to premiere in May.

In the announcement, series co-creators/showrunners/executive producers Robert and Michelle King released a statement, thanking “Paramount+ for giving us four bonus episodes to end Evil in the world in style,” adding “We will miss this show and cast. In many ways it was a dream project, but sadly evil will outlast Evil. See you in May.”

A few hours after the announcement, Robert King shared the news on X.

Series star Mike Colter, who plays David Acosta, also shared the news along with the Season 4 teaser trailer:
