‘Rainbow Rishta’: Watch Trailer For Prime Video India’s LGBTQIA+ Doc Series From Vice Studios

EXCLUSIVE: Rainbow Rishta, Prime Video India’s doc series about the country’s LGBTQIA+ communities, is being showcased at the Mumbai Film Festival tomorrow. Ahead of that we’ve your first look at the show’s trailer above.

The Vice Studios show, directed by Jaydeep Sarkar, follows six stores that encapsulate queer love and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people in India.

The colorful trailer shows a group of position, happy protagonists — namely Trineta Haldar, Aishwarya Ayushmaan, Daniella Mendonca, Aneez Saikia and Sanam Choudhary, Soham Sengupta and Suresh Ramdas, and Sadam Hanjabam — addressing how they are seen and how they feel within themselves, providing a window into queer love from different parts of the country.

Mumbai will hold a special showcase for the series tomorrow (November 2), ahead of its global launch on Prime Video on November 7.
