Olivia Bentley has been sharing her love life on Made in Chelsea since Season 11 and is weighing in on leaving the E4 series as the show heads into Season 27.
Bentley is the most veteran star of the show currently and at the heart of the reality series, never shying away from the drama by expressing her opinions and showing her most vulnerable sides as well. With the spinoff special Made in Chelsea: Sydney wrapping up, Bentley is thinking of her future on the show.
“I’m retiring – I don’t know when,” she told OK! Magazine. “It’s amazing but maybe it’s time for something else.”
As for what Bentley would do after leaving the show, she said, “I live on a small island and have a few kids. I want to focus on my well-being brand JOMO. I want to do more of that.”
Bentley has featured her brand on the show as she launches an ad campaign featuring some of her closest friends. In the spinoff special set in Australia, Bentley recognized she was not over her ex, Tristan Phipps, and it had been difficult for her to see him date someone else in their friend group.
Looking back at continuing to film amid her breakup with Phipps and going on a vacation with him was something she thought about before accepting to do it.
“Honestly, I mean, just just stop dating people and then hanging out with them. It’s weird,” Olivia reflected. “I was actually a bit apprehensive about [going to Sydney] because this was the first time Tristan and I had gone away and not been together. Every other away series, we’d always been in a relationship. It was alright, actually. We get on as friends.”
Bently tried to make it work with another co-star, David “Temps” Templer, but ultimately decided they were better as friends for now.
Made in Chelsea has had a revolving door of cast members since premiering in 2011. Channel 4 in the UK and Seven Network in Australia recently announced a spinoff series set in Bondi, where the cast recently filmed the Made in Chelsea: Sydney spinoff. Made in Bondi is set to premiere sometime in 2024.
