The Boys Universe Expands Again with Vought Rising Starring Jensen Ackles

During the highly anticipated Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, fans of the Emmy-winning series The Boys were treated to a thrilling surprise announcement: the launch of a new prequel series titled Vought Rising.

Yes, The Boys shows no signs of slowing down!

This upcoming series, set in the same dark and twisted universe, promises to delve into the sinister origins of Vought International in the 1950s.

The news was delivered in a spectacular fashion as Jensen Ackles, who portrays Soldier Boy in The Boys, made a surprise appearance on stage, igniting excitement and speculation among the audience.

Ackles then introduced a special video message from Aya Cash, who plays the infamous Stormfront, which must have really amped up the anticipation of their appearance.

Executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong, who also serves as the showrunner, expressed their enthusiasm for this new venture: “We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys.

“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.

“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”

Vought Rising will feature the dynamic duo of Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, both of whom will also serve as producers.

Jensen Ackles is a Busy Man

This news comes as a bit of a surprise, considering that Jensen Ackles is already committed to more time on the CBS series Tracker as well as another Prime Video series, Countdown.
