Still Up will not be returning for a second season. The romantic comedy series debuted on Apple TV+ in September 2023 and has now been cancelled.

Co-created by Steve Burge and Natalie Walterhe, the Still Up series stars Antonia Thomas, Craig Roberts, Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston, Rich Fulcher, and Sam Spiro. The story follows a pair of insomniacs — socially anxious yet gifted journalist Danny (Roberts) and free-spirited illustrator and mother Lisa (Thomas). They have no secrets except their feelings for each other.

According to Deadline, the series was quietly shelved earlier this year.

While Still Up has been cancelled, Thomas and Roberts are still working together. Thomas, who was recently seen in the final season of The Good Doctor, will star in The Scurry, a comedy-horror movie. Roberts is directing the feature film.

What do you think? Did you watch Still Up? Were you hoping for a second season of this Apple TV+ series?
